Mr. Rizal Giovanni P. Aportadera Jr has devoted over 37 years in the Philippine radio broadcast industry. He currently sits as Director of the Presidential Broadcast Service-Bureau of Broadcast Services (PBS-BBS), the radio broadcasting arm of the Philippine Government, with a vast network of 36 State-owned radio stations nationwide.
Serving as PBS-BBS Director since the administration of former President Rodrigo Duterte until the current President Ferdinand Marcos Jr, Director Aportadera has made it his commitment to revolutionize the Philippine government radio with innovative programs, better-trained personnel, and continuing efforts to upgrade its radio broadcast equipment and facilities to reach and serve more Filipinos in the Philippines and anywhere in the world.
Prior to serving PBS-BBS, he has worked for major broadcast networks in the Philippines such as Radio Mindanao Network, ABS-CBN, GMA, and CNN Philippines.
